We love capturing the many milestones in a baby’s first year, in our Photoshoots for Babies in our Melbourne studio in Kew.
From their first smiles or cute giggles, to touching their toes or pushing up while on their tummy, sitting and crawling and of course 1st Birthday.
There is never a bad time for baby photography!
What to expect from your baby photography session?
Photoshoots for Babies include the whole family but focus on your baby and all of the clever things they can now do.
They are baby led and leave plenty of time for feeding and cuddles.
When is a studio baby photography session a great choice?
Our in-studio Photoshoots for Babies, are the perfect choice if:
- You missed the newborn window but want a baby focused family photography session to capture your baby while they are still tiny.
- You only did baby photos, rather than a full session with family photos – We adore all of the individual baby photos that we create. But existing in photos with you little one is one of the most valuable gifts that you can give to your children. They are so important to them in their developmental years.
- You want a way to celebrate their 1st year – Our first birthday sessions are a fabulous way to do that. They are a bit different to the traditional cake smash. With 1st birthday props, instead of having to introduce sugar at such an early age.
Can I book a baby photography session if my child is older than 1.
Absolutely!
We photography families with kids of any ages in the studio.
All of our sessions are family photography sessions.
Our baby sessions, however, just focus on the different developmental points that babies are at through their first year. Such as baby being tiny and sleepy still, or sitting or 1st birthday.

How long is a baby photography session?
Photoshoots for Babies are usually 1 – 2 hours in length, in our photography studio in Kew.
Sessions are timed for when your baby is usually awake and at their happiest.
Are weekend photoshoots for babies available?
We totally understand that often both parents can’t always make it into the studio for their Baby Photography during the week, so we have Saturday sessions also available.
